Pasta On The Road is a journey through fields of ancient wheat, ports, mills and the kitchens of those who truly produce what we eat at Miscusi. Five episodes, five locations, one question: what is really behind a plate of pasta?

A woman with long gray hair holds a bundle of fresh herbs outdoors under bright sunlight.
Three men are smiling and posing for a photo indoors against a light blue window blind.
A man walks through a vast, sunlit field of wheat under a dramatic sky.
A man in a striped shirt smiles warmly in a dimly lit, modern interior space.
A man in a field smells a fresh sprig of dill in a black and white portrait.

The Places

Pasta has an identity. It's tied to a place, to distinctive characteristics, and to unique stories.

And Sicily knows it better than anyone — perhaps because in that land the history of half the world has passed through. When you’re there, you feel a connection so deep that when you have to leave you already want to come back. It’s home.

The project

The goal of this project is simple: to tell what usually remains invisible. To give a face and a voice to those who work the raw material.

And, above all, raise awareness. Because choosing what we eat is a daily, powerful act and anything but banal. This reportage will be a journey made of encounters, regions and authentic stories.

Without filters. Sometimes light, sometimes deeper. But always sincere. A story that does not pretend to give definitive answers, but that aims to spark questions. We are only at the beginning. But one thing is certain: we will not return to the way things were before.

This is miscusi, this is Pasta on the Road.

WE ARE NATURE

The omnipotent arrogance of trying to dominate our planet is failing at every level. This isn't romance, it's science. And choosing what we eat is the first real act of change.
